Space for hosting community events
"The Boston area has become such a vibrant hub of cycling activity in the past 10 years, and our new store space enables us to serve the community even better than before," says Mark Vautour, a longtime Landry's employee who started his career with the company 20 years ago. "Everyone at Landry's is super-excited about our new location, and we're looking forward to welcoming and hosting customers and friends in our new store. The bigger space and added parking now gives us the opportunity to host more events and rides to give back to the community."
New protected bike lanes on Comm Ave
The City of Boston recently installed protected bike lanes on both sides of Commonwealth Avenue between Packard's Corner and the BU Bridge, including in front of Landry's Boston store. These new protected bike lanes are designed for bikes only — with granite curbs between the sidewalks and parked cars. Landry's employees actively advocated for installing protected bike lanes along Comm Ave to make the street safer for all users.
Go Electric with Landry's!
Landry's features a wide range of pedal-assist electric bikes to boost your power, extend your biking limits, and increase your pleasure while riding. With an e-bike, you still pedal as you go — just like any other bike — only it's faster and easier.
You've got ride one to believe it. Come see us at Landry's Bicycles in Boston to test-ride an electric bike and experience what the latest e-bike technology has to offer.
Landry's ranked as one of America's top bike shops
Committed to building better bicycling
Landry’s Bicycles has been named one of America’s Best Bike Shops by the National Bicycle Dealers Association again this year. In addition to providing great shopping experiences, America’s Best Bike Shops are rated on community service as well as support for bicycle advocacy both locally and nationally.
"We believe in giving back to the community, and we are actively involved with advancing safer bicycling," stated Jack Johnson, Landry’s marketing director. "The City of Boston has been nationally designated as a Bicycle Friendly Community since 2011," he noted, "and everyone at Landry's is really excited to help improve the quality of bicycling in the Boston area."

Founded in 1922, Landry's Bicycles now operates a "growing family" of bicycle stores. Starting in 2010, Landry's ownership transitioned to an ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), and all core staff now own shares in the company.
